Glenda Collins B-Side featured on Tony Burch Fashion Film…

British starlet Glenda Collins made her name in the Sixties with a string of memorable 45s, many of them masterminded by maverick producer Joe Meek.

Her 1965 B-side, ‘Been Invited To A Party’, was recently chosen for the soundtrack to an online film for US designer Tory Burch‘s US fashion house. Listen to the track here:

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
