First released 40 years ago, Dead Kennedys’ debut album ‘Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables’ is being remixed from the original multi-track tapes, with help from renowned mix engineer Chris Lord-Alge.

Bassist Klaus Flouride and guitarist East Bay Ray were heavily involved in creating a mix which adds depth without losing any of its original energy. ‘Chemical Warfare’ is released today. Listen here.

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
