Foxes and Dogs

British band Yellow Dog were founded by former Fox songwriter Kenny Young. A going concern during late 70s and early 80s, they scored a significant hit ‘Just One More Night’ (No. 8 UK, No. 6 Australia, 1978) plus a near-miss ‘Wait Until Midnight’ (Top 75). Written and produced by Young, the band recorded three albums: Yellow Dog (1978), Beware Of The Dog (1978) and 1981’s Strangers In Paradox which we represent alongside Fox’s 70s albums Fox, Tales Of Illusion, S-s-s- Single Bed and Blue Hotel – alongside b-sides and associated extras. FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
