Our forthcoming compilation, A World Of Our Own, celebrates one of the UK’s boom years in all things folk – 1965.
We control the rights to many folk and folk-adjacent tracks (acid-folk, folk-rock, folk-blues, etc.). The myriad artists whose tracks we represent include Bridget St. John, Strawbs, John Martyn, Sandy Denny, Chad & Jeremy, Capercaillie, Plainsong/Iain Matthews, Unicorn, the Woods Band, Ian A. Anderson and Dando Shaft and American artists (Carolyn Hester, Barry McGuire). And don’t forget valuable cult records by the likes of Knocker Jungle, Jade, Paper Bubble, Oberon and 9.30 Fly, plus dozens of albums on Alan Green’s cult labels Folk Heritage, Midas and Westwood, as well as the wealth of Irish/Celtic talent within the Emerald Music archive.
