Firefly Folk

Bridget St. John is a singer-songwriter and guitarist best known for the three albums she recorded between 1969 and 1972 for John Peel’s Dandelion label. Blessed with a rich, cello-like vocal style, Bridget was one of the leading artists during that creative high water mark in folk history. One of her standout tracks is ‘Ask Me No Questions’, which has been used in the latest and final part of Netflix drama series Firefly Lane, which has followed the friendship and bond between two women from Seattle. We also control Bridget’s post-Dandelion recordings and publish many of her songs.
