Feeling Romantic?

Music For New Romantics is a new 3-CD compilation devoted to tunes popular at club nights in the late 70s and early 80s, when a new fashion was born.

Inspired by the glamour of Bowie, the DIY energy of Punk and the dancefloor appeal of Disco, this youth cult was swiftly labelled the New Romantics as a new generation of (mostly) synth pop artists hit the charts.

Many of the tracks on this new 3-CD are available for licence.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
