FEEL THE SPEED
To any fan of American indie and alternative rock, Dinosaur Jr need little introduction. From their roots on seminal indie labels like SST in the 1980s through to mainstream success with Warner in the 1990s, J Mascis & Co. have remained hugely influential, with classics such as ‘The Wagon,’ ‘Whatever’s Cool With Me,’ ‘Start Choppin’’ and the iconic ‘Feel The Pain’. The latter was recently featured in Project NASCAR 25, the US iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations title, bringing the band’s distinctive slacker-era energy to a new generation of players and motorsport fans. Cherry Red represent Dinosaur Jr’s Warner-era recordings — the albums Green Mind (1991), Where You Been (1993), Without A Sound (1994) and Hand It Over (1997).
