Eyeballs For All
The Louisiana-born members of the enigmatic avant-pop collective known as The Residents operate out of a shadowy alternative version of San Francisco. They have no names, no faces, no gender, no age, no race, no identities at all.
Which is precisely why their song ‘My Second Wife’ has been used in a new retro-computer-animated children’s film, The Man With The Eye At The End Of His Finger, which was 27 years in production!
Hand-coloured by a single artist/animator pixel-by-individual pixel, the movie tells the tale of a sad, lonely man who hides away in complete isolation, victimized for having a glowing green eye at the end of his finger. Yes, really.
