Dining Out Label
Formed in 1979, London-based DIY new wave label Dining Out was the vehicle for (future) music journalist Dave Henderson to release a host of records brimming with new wave artiness, primal electronic melodies, wonky pop, dishevelled funk riffs, drum-machines and analogue synths. Between 1979 and 1982, they unveiled a host of John Peel favourites filled with angst and invention from the likes of The Adicts, Normil Hawaiians, Club Tango, Farm Life, New Age and The Swinging Laurels, alongside Dave’s own band The Disco Zombies (pictured) and more. Cherry Red are the custodians of Dining Out – let us know if you’d like to make a reservation.
