Criminal Damage was an independent punk label set up in the early 1980s by Chris Green, which hosted releases from the likes of The Membranes, goth rock outfit Ausgang, The Stills, Twisted Nerve, Destructors, Dead Man’s Shadow, Look Back In Anger, Stunt Kites and many more. Active from 1982 to 1986, Criminal Damage (or most of its output, at least) now resides with Cherry Red. Drop us a line if you’d like to know more

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
