Dance Stance

Dance Stance

As Britpop exploded across UK culture in the mid-1990s, ‘Cool Britannia’ seemed to rule the airwaves. DJs and dance acts quickly got in on the act, sharing headline slots with guitar bands. A new 4-CD compilation, Going Out Of My Head – Adventures On The Indie Dancefloor 1995-1999, takes a trip through the hedonistic tunes that were filling the dancefloors across Great Britain in the run-up to the new millennium. Cherry Red represent a fair amount of 90s music from various scenes, from techno acts such as Future Loop Foundation, Eat Static and Timeshard, to Britpop staples (Buzzcocks, The Times, Drugstore, etc.), with plenty in between!
