Crock of Gold! A King Horror Show!
Julien Temple’s new film about the life and times of The Pogues’ enigmatic frontman Shane MacGowan was released on 20 November.
Co-produced with Johnny Depp, the film combines new interviews with unseen archive footage and maps MacGowan’s childhood in Ireland through to his years on London’s punk scene.
The documentary includes our track ‘Loch Ness Monster’ by King Horror – the recording pseudonym for Jamaican toaster Lord Davey, who recorded some amazing ‘Boss Reggae’ 45s in the late 60s, produced by the ‘Godfather Of Ska’, Laurel Aitken.
