COMING HOME TO ROOST(ER)

Atomic Rooster, the seminal prog-rock outfit formed by Vincent Crane and Carl Palmer in 1970, return with a powerful new album that channels the dark, gothic-tinged energy of their early ’70s work while exploring fresh sonic territory. Their first new album in four decades, Circle The Sun features ten richly atmospheric tracks from a band led by original member Steve “Boltz” Bolton, which blend thunderous riffs, haunting Hammond organ, and bold rhythmic dynamism. Atomic Rooster will bring their new chapter to life with UK and European live shows, proving the enduring power of classic/progressive rock.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
