(Classic) Rock Mountain Climbing
Mountain formed in Long Island, New York in 1969, just in time to perform one of their earliest shows at the legendary Woodstock Festival that August. Inspired by the classic power trio Cream, Mountain’s blues-based heavy rock was widely influential. We represent the rights to various concert recordings from Mountain featuring original members Leslie West and Corky Laing. These include the shows at Manchester Academy (16/02/05), The Robin Bilston (17/02/05), The Boardwalk Sheffield (20/02/05), Patti Pavillion Swansea (24/02/05) and the Y Theatre Leicester (25/02/05). The albums were released recently on a 6-CD box set. Mountain’s archive forms part of our wider classic rock catalogue, including albums from artists as diverse as Family/Roger Chapman, Blackthorne, Girl, Glenn Hughes, Graham Bonnet, Humble Pie, Silverhead, Pete Way, Strangeways, Todd Rundgren, Trapeze and many more.
