Cicero, The Popguns, The Brilliant Corners & more Cherry Red tracks featured on Netflix’s ‘Everything Sucks!’

Parodying American teen culture in the Nineties, Netflix TV series Everything Sucks! focused on teenagers attending the fictional Boring High School in Oregon, as they proceed to make a movie together.

The soundtrack to the series included several early 90s Cherry Red tracks, including ‘Someone You Love’ by The Popguns, Cicero‘s hit ‘Love Is Everywhere’, The Brilliant Corners‘ ‘Love It I Lost It’ by and ‘Until You Find Out’ by Neds Atomic Dustbin.

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
