Cherry Red are proud to announce Captain Oi! catalogue acquisition

Launched in 1993 by the team who’d previously been involved with Anagram, Dojo and Link, Captain Oi! has been synonymous with Punk Rock reissues, compilations and new albums with over 300 releases to its name.

Cherry Red are proud to announce that the Captain Oi! catalogue is now available for licence, featuring a who’s who of Punk names such as Cock Sparrer, U.K. Subs, Angelic Upstarts, Major Accident, Chelsea, The Business and Vice Squad.

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
