Chemical Brothers Touch

Morgan Fisher is an English keyboard player and composer best known as a member of Mott the Hoople in the early 1970s.

In 1980, Morgan locked himself away in his minimal studio in a corner of his small Notting Hill apartment and produced the notable Miniatures: A Sequence of Fifty-One Tiny Masterpieces album – 50 tracks of no more than one minute in length by 50 different artists, which was released through Cherry Red on his Pipe imprint.

The reputation of Miniatures has grown ever since, with a 2000 sequel, Miniatures 2: A Sequence of Sixty Tiny Masterpieces, and 2021 saw the release of a brand new Miniatures album. One of the songs on Miniatures was ‘Night Touch’ by Fisher and Damned frontman Dave Vanian, sampled heavily by English electronic music duo The Chemical Brothers for their 2007 hit ‘Saturate’, included on their sixth album We Are The Night.
