Brothers In Arms

Back in 1981, ‘Kids In America‘ launched budding young singer Kim Wilde onto the world stage. A hit around the globe, the song boasted an irresistible mix of Blondie-styled new wave energy and catchy lyrics, which has endured to this day – and helps explain the ongoing demand for the song in TV and film. An interesting twist on this familiar tune can be heard in the trailer for the recent Netflix crime documentary The Menendez Brothers. You can watch the trailer via the link below.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
