We’re proud to announce the acquisition of four albums by legendary progressive rock act The Edgar Broughton Band: Bandages (1975), Parlez-Vous English? (1979), Live Hits Harder! (1979) and Superchip (1982).

In related news, Cherry Red also represent the rights to five albums by occasional Broughton Creepy John Thomas, who made two collectable prog LPs in 1969/70, Creepy John Thomas and Brother Bat Bone, as well as Rust‘s album Come With Me (1969) and two early 80s albums by Johnny & The Drivers, This Must Be The Night and Homing In On Zero.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
