Blancmange: Electro pop duo re-work classic debut album

Back in the early 80s, the thinking person’s favourite electronic pop duo was Blancmange. Three decades on, Neil Arthur & Co. have re-imagined their debut album as Happy Families Too, which includes a tremendous reworking of their smash hit ‘Living On The Ceiling‘ as well as some of their other hit singles.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
