Billion Dollar Bruce!

Founder member of the original Alice Cooper, guitarist and musical all-rounder Michael Bruce eventually left the band in 1974 to pursue a solo career, alongside a new Alice Cooper spin-off band Billion Dollar Babies.

Cherry Red now represent much of Michael’s back catalogue, from solo LPs In My Own Way (1975), Rock Rolls On (1983) and the Icelandic sessions Halo Of Ice (2001), as well as Billion Dollar Babies albums Battle Axe (1977) and the self-explanatory First Ever Live Show Flint – 1977, alongside rare demos and other material.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
