Beetleblood

Hailing from Toronto, Tess Parks was discovered by Alan McGee, then assembled a psychedelic band, inspired by the Jesus & Mary Chain, Mazzy Star and the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Taken from her acclaimed debut album Blood Hot (2013), her debut single ‘Somedays’ has recently graced two high profile films now showing at your local picture house. The first is the reboot sequel of cult classic horror comedy, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and the second is horror thriller The Inheritance. Drop us a line if you’d like to know more.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
