‘Baby Sitting’ by The Corvells to feature on Netflix hit series ‘The Crown’

The most expensive drama which Netflix has produced to date, TV series The Crown has been widely acclaimed for its portrayal of the early life of Queen Elizabeth II. Season 2 is scheduled to begin at the end of this year – and this time, the story moves into the Sixties. One of the tracks to be used within the soundtrack is ‘Baby Sitting’ by The Corvells, an obscure but wonderful early 60s Girl Group/R&B track from the Detroit era, which is controlled by Cherry Red.

Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
