Autumn Harvest

Formed in 1966, Barclay James Harvest remain one of the most successful progressive rock bands of all time, with a massive worldwide following and vast back catalogue. In April 1968, their first single ‘Early Morning’was released on Parlophone before they were signed to EMI’s progressive label Harvest (named after them). We’re proud to be the custodians of the band’s first four albums, namely Barclay James Harvest (1970), Once Again (1971), …And Other Short Stories (1971) and Baby James Harvest (1972). Next Friday sees the release of a five-disc edition of Baby James Harvest, first released in 1972 and featuring remastered audio and new stereo mixes.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
