ART ATTACK!

Jim Bob today releases ‘Art’, the latest — and final — single from his acclaimed new album Stick. As singer with Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine, Jim Bob scored fourteen Top 40 singles and four Top 10 albums (including a number one). Cherry Red are proud to have worked with Jim for many years. Automatic and Stick both offer a filler-free slice of silver-tongued sharp, witty social commentary wrapped up in Jim’s brand of catchy, intelligent indie-pop. Drop us a line to hear more.

FOXY FRIENDS

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
