A Design For Life
The Design emerged in the late 1960s, known for their harmonious pop sound, intricate musical arrangements and melodic style. The band’s debut self-titled album, Design (1971), introduced their unique blend of folk and pop, featuring tracks like ‘Coloured Mile’ and ‘The Lonely’. Tomorrow Is So Far Away (1971) included the memorable ‘Take A Boat’ and ‘Sad Fisherman’ while third album, Day Of The Fox (1973) boasted highlights such as ‘Nature’s Children‘ and the title track. In Flight (1974) further showcased their evolving sound with tracks like ‘Wherever You May Go’ and ‘Teach Me How To Fly’. We are now the proud custodians of The Design’s catalogue.
