Sean Tyla catalogue finds new home with Cherry Red

Sean Tyla is one of rock’s true journeyman, treading the boards from the mid-70s Pub Rock heyday with Ducks Deluxe through the New Wave era with The Tyla Gang and onto a lengthy solo career .

Cherry Red is the new home for Sean’s extensive catalogue of recordings across the years, including his two acclaimed albums with The Tyla Gang (originally on Beserkley) and some notable LPs from the early 1980s.

Noosha Fox and friends injected some sophisticated glamour into the UK charts of the mid-1970s. Fox‘s ‘Only You Can’ peaked at No. 3 while ‘S-S-S Single Bed‘ peaked one place lower. ‘If I Point At The Moon’, taken from their 1975 self-titled album, is a lilting, sublime pop ditty that sounds remarkably timeless. The song is featured in the US drama mini-series A Friend Of The Family, which aired recently on the Peacock network.
