1979: Philip Rambow

1979: Philip Rambow

Having made his name with pub rockers The Winkies (who backed Brian Eno), Canadian singer-songwriter Philip Rambow embarked on a solo career with two albums for EMI, starting with 1979’s acclaimed Shooting Gallery.

Cherry Red now represent Philip’s back catalogue, including later albums Jungle Law (1981) and his “comeback” record Whatever Happened To Phil Rambow? (2015).
